Hey TLL babes - it's time for more fashion delivered straight to you inbox/IG feed/shopping carts. We love shopping as much as the next person, but often run into the issue of affordability. There's usually a tradeoff between rocking the latest trends & paying bills (and guess which one keeps a roof over our head :)) It's important for us to show that even though we love to cover trends and keep you in-the-know about what's #IN this season, none of this means we are constantly buying and buying and buying. Besides this being unsustainable & harmful to the environment, it perpetuates an idea that is harmful to us: that fashion is only for the wealthy. That the only way to keep up with trends & be in style is to use up all of your disposable income and prioritize buying over saving. We're not about that, and we want to assure young fashion lovers out there that you can still love fashion and be fashionable on a budget - and there is nothing wrong with that.
Fashion is supposed to be fun and a creative outlet, not a source of frustration or FOMO feelings. This is why we've created a new series, #A4DABLE, where we'll update you on the latest internet finds that can help us all jump on a trend we love without breaking our bank accounts. Affordable means something different for everyone, but we'll do our best to find decently-priced pieces for you to enjoy & feel badass in!
In the spirit of affordable style, here our some of our March on-trend items for less:
P.S None of these items are ads or sponsored :)
Shoes We're Loving
We're loving all of these shoes - we're size 7.5, btw.
The FILA sneakers are giving us Balenciaga Triple S vibes for way less. SHOP
Pair Mango's eggplant-toned, croc-embossed sandals with mom jeans and a t-shirt for ultmate laid-back model vibes. They're only $40! SHOP
These tan leather mules are also Mango & they're great dupes for Bottega Veneta ones - shop HERE for only $80.
Items for those laid-back days
If you follow TLL on Instagram (which you should), you'll see we're frustrated bucket hat lovers. Frustrated because they don't really look good on us, BUT we're snagging this snake-print bucket hat because it's literally $9.99 on UO.
Another trend we're growing fond of is the fanny pack trend. While some might style designer bags as fanny packs, we look just as cool with this camo-print PUMA Pumagram one that is both comfort&style in one. It's also under $10 (you're welcome).
For even more comfort, opt for a discounted Calvin Klein unlined bralette (shop here). Nothing better than feeling put-together in nay outfit because you know your underwear is #bomb.
For feelin' fancy
This edition's dresses are all from Aritzia because we're obsessed with the quality of their pieces - but we chose looks that look high-end AND are under $100. The earth-toned colors make them perfect for almost any occasion & season! Plus, the '90s check mini dress (featured first) + the Studio 33 mini bag give us #Clueless vibes. We also LOVE cozy sweater dresses for a chill fall day or a night-out with some heels - this Merino wool sweater dress is #1 on our wish list. Wear the tan/gold ruched dress for a dinner out - it's made with Japanese satin (did someone say flattering?) and will only set you back $50. For a dress you'll be able to style in a hundred different ways, we say it's a pretty good deal.
That's all for this month's looks for less babes! We hope you loved this edit and are hoping that TLL is a place for you to find everything - from high-end designers to affordable, good quality retail trends.
With love,
Isa
